Alternatively, a d.c. test voltage equal to the peak value of the a.c. test voltage may be
used.
Subclause 8.8.3 a)
The test voltage can be provided by a transformer, by a d.c. power source or by using the
transformer(s) of the ME EQUIPMENT. In the last case, to prevent overheating, the test voltage
can have a frequency that is higher than the RATED frequency of the ME EQUIPMENT.
