Question:
In the figure you can see typical garden luminaire (230 V) with a spike where construction of luminaire allows direct contact between cable entry / connection between different housing parts and soil. There are many luminaires with same construction on the market with IP 44 classification. Is this construction in compliance with the standard?
Decision:
The construction does not comply with the standard. Follow the standard among other with respect to the stop plate and/or IP requirements.
