Question:
In what way should the lamp-type information be rated when MT-400-type lamps are used (when ballast manufacturer has specified the ballast to be used only with certain manufacturer’s MT-400-type lamp)? Rating MT-400 does not give the necessary information.
Decision:
Marking plate should have manufacturer specific rating for example HPI-T (Philips) and installation instructions should specify the appropriate(s) lamp(s) with more details (manufacturer etc.).
