Question:
During the electric strength test on cord guards and cord anchorages, should a metal rod or
metal foil wrapped around the cable be used ?

Decision:
In case of doubt, the cable with the foil wrap is used for cord anchorages and a metal rod for
the inlet bushings.
The torque for the screw and clamping means should be 2/3 of what is stated in the table of
clause 28.
