Allowance of crimp connection for type M attachment
2.2.10 and 26.1
60335-1(ed.2)
Standard: IEC 335-1, 2nd edition
Sub clauses: 2.2.10 and 26.1
Sheet n. 252 A
Subject: Allowance of crimp connection for type M attachment
Key words:
- crimp connection
- type M attachment
Decision 13 of 34th meeting/1997
Question:
Subclause 2.2.10 states that crimp connections are allowed for type M attachment,
and
subclause 26.1 specifies that “For appliance with type Y attachment or type Z
attachment, soldered, welded, crimped and similar connection may be used for the
connection of external conductors”
Is there any inconsistency between the two a.m. subclauses regarding the allowance
of crimp connections in type M attachment?
Are crimp connections acceptable for type M attachment?
Decision:
- There is no inconsistency between subclauses 2.2.10 and 26.1, as subclause 26.1
refers to types Y and Z attachments and not to type M attachment.
- Crimp terminations forming part of a type M attachment are acceptable (see
sketch below).
新版的60335里面好像没有提及type M attachment,M型连接是怎样的连接呢?
