Question:
For internal wiring, in particular wiring near to heat source or getting hot - what should be
the criteria for compliance (size & temperature requirements)?
Decision:
If the wiring is regarded as safety critical component than they must be rated adequately and
assessed accordingly, i.e. following tests, inspect the wiring for any damage and if in doubt
apply the required HV test and check temperature test results with the rating/information
supplied.
