Question:
What do Test Houses generally require for compliance to this sub-clause?
Decision:
Sufficient information should be given such that the operator/user can replace the fuse with
the correct one. This information should include the rated current, rupture capacity (high or
low), the speed and the voltage rating either in symbols or words.
There is no requirement for the use of HRC fuses in the supply lines.(see also clause 9.6)
The markings and documents should make it clear whether an IEC60127 or UL/CSA type
fuse is fitted.
