Question:
Is it acceptable to issue CB Test Certificates for cartridge fuse-links whose ratings exceed the ratings specified
in the standard?
Examples:
1.Cartridge fuse-links of time-lag low-breaking capacity of Standard Sheet 3 of IEC 60127-2, whose rating is
12A 250V.
2. Cartridge fuse-links of quick-acting low-breaking capacity of Standard Sheet 2 of IEC 60127-2, whose rating
is 10A or 12A 250V.
Decision:
It is not appropriate to issue a CB Test Certificate for cartridge fuse-links whose ratings
exceed the ratings specified in the standard.
