The materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance; t( t3 R% k+ }; } E0 u7 J& I5 r% T

8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:
! Y( L: D& F; C% Z3 fa) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;4 w0 I) q+ s# J, y
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the p* {! s" b0 r+ k$ V
flame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;
5 ^/ X& h- B& f! T& S) N7 Kc) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding
; P5 f9 m5 E I( i9 E1 o1 q$ }* @40 mm/min for a thickness of 3,0 mm to 13,0 mm or a burning rate not exceeding
/ L) z) O" e3 b1 V75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;7 _/ \- l$ j8 b
d) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm
. e) I9 t, x' [4 Y, S) A. G6 bthickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.
