Question:
Protective shield is a mean that protects against:
1) UV and/or;
2) shattering particles and/or;
3) ensures the declared IP degree; it is made of glass or other material. In which cases the “Replace damaged glass protective shield” marking is required? What we consider as a “protective shield”? Indeed only glass protective shield should be considered or even plastic shields have to be taken into account?
Decision:
Marking only in case 1) and 2), both in case of glass and plastic shield.
