Decision: Yes, According to the IEC 61558-1, it is not required that the impregnation or8 q2 x! I0 I: \& |' k
potting material must penetrate into all parts of the transformer. The criteria9 ?# _, t' g) q: h& s& |4 f
for acceptance is the tests described in clause 26. The second edition of IEC" Q% d2 m8 y7 W
61558-1 is clear in this respect.
