– balanced three-phase equipment;
' R" l a, t n# l9 a– household appliances, excluding equipment identified as class D;7 ^4 A' ]2 _, s h5 B: z
– tools, excluding portable tools;
' O: a. O2 {# k+ j+ S– dimmers for incandescent lamps;
& T% h0 ~ y. b3 C% B! L5 a– audio equipment.8 r7 N5 l k9 l- u+ K1 e8 w& [
Equipment not specified in one of the three other classes shall be considered as class A& W4 F, F: O2 ?
equipment.+ q& U* h7 J( R1 z8 F7 z
NOTE 1 Equipment that can be shown to have a significant effect on the supply system may be reclassified in a
$ L5 l9 S- V; Z# l) z& mfuture edition of the standard. Factors to be taken into account include:% L+ H2 C. E0 C8 Y, S+ a
– number of pieces of equipment in use;9 I! ~0 g- L4 f$ e; N/ G
– duration of use;7 B2 {! g1 n J- C4 ]% A) K
– simultaneity of use;

– harmonic spectrum, including phase.

Class B:

– lighting equipment.

Equipment having a specified power according to 6.2.2 less than or equal to 600 W, of the. I' G$ n7 E8 F _ c, l

– personal computers and personal computer monitors;+ |4 x# d1 O7 N @1 S) O2 v ]
– television receivers.
