accessories). The unit can be used with or without a constant water flowing (in
3 ^# L. J m4 ]( `& v- S) [5 f4 Haccordance with the manual instructions). What should be the temperature of! M( b+ Q) e: w0 }# e Z
the water during the thermal tests?
9 Z" A7 r3 i( B8 E3 pDecision: The applicable standard is IEC/EN 60335-1. The thermal tests have to be
% s% v `3 n: H" Ocarried out according to clause 11 (heating) and clause 19 (abnormal, \# J, V1 A, r3 _4 Z# ^& J( |1 K
conditions) of IEC/EN 60335-1. If according to the manual instructions the6 o' i: x6 D @; T2 N0 E
appliance can be used without water flowing, we have to consider this situation
. z% s* E" Z* F! Gas worst case: all tests have to be performed without water flowing. At the
, [$ Q/ g# C6 @. D* |7 P, P! wbeginning of the tests, the water shall be at room temperature (25°C). If the
, P0 b' J- j! a. ?8 f1 Oappliance is provided for use with water flowing only, the heating test (clause
; B1 q' D: N% H% g3 _# ~* r11) shall be started with water at room temperature (25°C) but flowing. For the
