请教UL1472短路测试

《UL1472 solid-state dimming control》的5.10的limited short-circuit test短路测试
5.10.1 six samples of a dimmer in the as-receiced condition are to be tested in series with a 30-ampere nonrenewable,non-time delay,cartridge fuse rated for branch circuit overcurrent protection on an alternating-current circuit of rated voltage capable of delivering 1000 amperes peak when the system is short-circuited at the testing terminals。后面省略

5.10.2 each sample is to be installed in a metal flush-device box mounted in the fixture illustrated in figure 3,and covered with a metal flush-device cover plate,unless a noninterchangeable cover is provided with the dimmer.the enclosure and any otherexposed dead metal are to be connected to ground through a 15-ampere nonrenewable,non-time delay,cartridge fuse rated for branch circuit overcurrent protection. 后面省略
请教这个短路测试该怎么理解，怪我英语不好理解起来真困难。
我这样理解不知道对不对：
（1）先把调光器串联一个30A不可恢复无延迟的cartridge fuse,在连到1000A的电流源上，短路测试端子。
（2）调光器安装方式：安装到metal flush-device box里，表面用metal flush-device cover plate覆盖。外壳和任何暴露的金属部件通过15A不可恢复无延迟的cartridge fuse连接到地。

如果是按照我上面这样理解的，那连通了1000A的电流源后，串联的30A保线丝不是一下就断了吗？还使用1000A的电流源做什么用？？？而且这个1000A的电流源也太大了吧。
还有metal flush-device box和metal flush-device cover plate.究竟是什么东西？？？

不是这样！

意思是你的供电系统必须有能力输出 1000A（即使在短路状况）！并不是在1000A状况下测试！

这种东西就是 cover plate! 当然还要配合你的 dimmer 形状!

H-RH谢谢你。那就是这个短路测试，只需要连通到正常工作电压就可以了是吗？比如，工作电压是120V，只需要加上120V电压就可以了是吗？

讲测试用的电源要求, 电源有1000A peak短路电流，要有30A的非延时保险丝。

样品要安装盒中测试。

faige2006，谢谢你。就是如果我要做这个短路测试，加在测试样品两端的，不是这个1000A的电流，而是样品的额定工作电压，但是这个电源系统要能有1000A的电流能力？是这样吗？

一般的 dimmer 在调控时推至最暗位置后再过一点, 就会有air-gap 把连接电源电路断开, 不会单靠 SSD (TRIAC) 来关掉电源, 应该就是所指的air-gap switch。
