Compliance is checked by inspection.

Uppercase letter of the text explaining the signal word shall be no smaller than 1,6 mm, with

hexane.

8.1.3 Replace the note by the following.

13 Leakage current and electric strength at operating temperature
$ @* h: R, Q- Z3 F% P1 w13.2 Replace the first paragraph by the following:9 u) I5 J  G# z( l0 w* I
The leakage current is measured by means of the circuit described in Figure 4 of
1 u2 [$ L2 A- M! n& k  D4 t3 ~IEC 60990:1999. For class 0I appliances and class I appliances, except parts of class II" I0 v3 b! u! `# {0 r3 O+ s# r% L/ N
construction, C may be replaced by a low impedance ammeter responding to the rated
# s( Q( h0 b) i4 V+ b' A, jfrequency of the appliance.; Y; x3 B; \# y+ b* S
19 Abnormal operation
3 _! j* s7 M9 M19.1 Add the following to the penultimate paragraph of the test specification:& G' |5 P, [/ t% p
If the control performs more than one function, only that aspect of the control under# `( v6 U2 i5 h$ r$ J$ l: @" f
consideration is rendered inoperative. Other functions of the control may continue to operate" D. a( M/ @: i: p
normally.
# V9 N4 J: ~& _3 \- w19.7 In the third paragraph of the test specification, replace “class P2” by “class S2 or S3”.4 }' V% i* G. Q3 [' C/ w, U
19.11.3 Replace the text of the test specification but not the note, by the following.$ F6 ?$ x8 I0 u: c; `/ h
If the appliance incorporates a protective electronic circuit that operates to ensure
! h6 B3 A0 u( Ccompliance with Clause 19, the appliance is tested as follows:
/ }' T( D* m8 I4 L# }) uA fault as indicated in a) to g) of 19.11.2 shall be incorporated in the protective electronic
, y. c3 T6 y% f; f2 c/ G( Jcircuit either before the appliance is started or at any point in time after the appliance is
" P( k4 b4 I( o' [3 xstarted so that the most unfavourable conditions of the test are applied.
, g2 [# z$ n1 U- JIf the appliance is able to operate after the fault in the protective electronic circuit is/ ~% Z+ \' i& [( r! P4 z- g5 P
incorporated, then the appliance is further tested as follows.
# z$ D' z3 u: x  i& G7 a8 L  tFor appliances for continuous operation the appliance is operated until steady conditions are' e* h6 g- D" r' i: a1 m! _3 r
reached. Then the relevant test of Clause 19 is repeated.
3 H/ N8 R! o! X# XOther appliances are operated for one cycle of operation. Then the relevant test of Clause 192 p# p6 z" W7 `1 P! ?9 D5 a

19.11.4.2 Replace the test specification but not the note, by the following:
6 x- r5 a( `, n2 jThe appliance is subjected to radiated fields in accordance with IEC 61000-4-3.

– 80 MHz to 1 000 MHz, test level 3;2 Z0 @: i( d( g( j& R/ P

– 2,0 GHz to 2,7 GHz, test level 2.
