Question:
Is it correct to apply the requirements of IEC 60730 inside a motor protectorand the requirements of clause 29 of IEC 60335-1 after .operation during the test of clause 19. Or should the requirements of clause 29 be applied only to connections, tracks and other parts of the protection circuits?
Decision:
The requirements of IEC 60730 apply to the motor protector itself. tThe requirements of the IEC 60335 apply for all the other parts of the protection circuit.
