Some lampholders intended to be built into appliance are of such construction (see the photos below) that+ z. D' b; @( S; h% |" |) Y+ B g
it is impossible to test them by use of some gauges, e.g. a gauge according to the standard sheets 7006-30
4 p' g4 F u1 ]and 7006-31, and according to Figure 11, if a lampholder is not re-assembled prior to test. This means that

the re-assembled lampholder, the test probe easily reaches a contact. However, in real situation, a contact5 A' l; C/ e% _# w6 }6 R0 B, ^
with a lamp cap when inserting the lamp is not possible. What is the opinion of other Laboratories?
