9 U5 H' P' L# K9 V* F9 B  SShould the rivets that serve as electrical as well as mechanical connections be protected against loosening
& w, o4 k5 K. Z1 k+ G4 t6 L. ]even if they are not subject to torsion effect in normal use (e.g. rivets intended to fix ballasts).
+ B4 Z; M* P( I; n4 SDecision:
It was agreed that earthing connections shall be adequately locked against accidental loosening, either by:
% [6 d8 y& Z2 A- at least one screw with a spring washer, or one rivet with no circular shape;
, m0 f& v* ?6 _: ]8 ~- two rivets in case of circular shank according to sub-clause 4.11.3 of IEC 60598-1.
