connections between parts of equipment. Clause 6.10.1 specifies requirements only for

equipment ?
Terminology for the connecting cords? Note, Figure 3 of 61010-1 shows terminology for

Decision:
It has been agreed that where such connections are at mains potential than the requirement of
) x8 `7 f/ N' f6 M2 \8 gsub-clause 6.10 applies.

# t3 E& W! {. |, R4 g" o8 iThere are requirements for interconnecting cords for connecting parts of a system under
IEC61010-1.
Where interconnecting cables are at mains potent ial, it is important that such cords are at
least equivalent to the supply mains cord requirements.
