This clause specifies requirements for connections to the mains supply source and
connections between parts of equipment. Clause 6.10.1 specifies requirements only for
mains supply cords, where are the requirements for connections between partsof the
equipment ?
Terminology for the connecting cords? Note, Figure 3 of 61010-1 shows terminology for

sub-clause 6.10 applies.
Explanatory Notes:
There are requirements for interconnecting cords for connecting parts of a system under
IEC61010-1.
Where interconnecting cables are at mains potent ial, it is important that such cords are at
