It was agreed that although manufacturer 's declaration may well be taken into consideration,
5 }& K+ J0 t3 J9 S% a5 |- B/ Xhowever testing must be performed to ensure that requirements of IEC61010-1 is met.
) N4 e) @. P2 u! P/ T& C# F5 y3 p& aExplanatory Notes:
- e' w% {9 d1 A1 y2 zIn IEC61010-1, there is no requirement to simulate the ageing process of critical components4 c# J/ c5 V1 n# Q% S
such as the mains / isolating transformers.

high voltage test must also be applied to ensure that at least basic insulation exists.
