4 t) @9 U9 D" TIt is very common to use modular connectors (e.g. RJ-11, RJ-12, RJ-45), accessible to the' p" @6 {3 @) @3 l, ^6 D6 u
users, for a variety of transmission functions, both telecommunication and data./ t, X; U+ k% W% X2 K
Unfortunately, RJ-11 modular connectors easily mate with other configurations of modular0 y. s4 x7 h# m! S& l& ^/ p, B
connectors: RJ-12, RJ-45. This sub-clause permits marking only for connectors accessible
& t t; N8 o$ Z, j, Kto Service Personnel and, on the other hand, relying on configuration as a means of
* s. d. i' m( W4 Opreventing miss-mating is unrealistic.8 _+ y P" ?0 Y# F3 }0 x' o
How shall these connectors be tested?.

If there is a possibility of miss-mating of modular connectors (e.g. RJ-11, RJ-12 etc.)3 N! n5 G% Z" h
accessible for the user, tests have to be made to verify that the SELV limits remain.: Y0 G; r+ o- |$ h2 [& X
If the voltage of the TNV-circuit is known this value is used, otherwise the test generator of
