Is it acceptable to issue CB Test Certificate for miniature fuse-links with ratings (current and/or voltage) exceeding the ratings specified in the standard?
Examples:
# |+ i* w+ I7 \- X3 W5 V, x1. Cartridge fuse-links of time-lag low-breaking capacity of Standard Sheet 3 of IEC 60127-2, whose rating is 12 A 250 V;
2. Cartridge fuse-links of quick-acting low-breaking capacity of Standard Sheet 2 of IEC 60127-2, whose rating is 10 A or 12 A 250 V;
3. Cartridge fuse-links of time-lag high-breaking capacity of Standard Sheet 5 of IEC 60127-2, whose rating is 12 A 250 V.
Decision
It is not allowed to issue a CB Test Certificate for miniature fuse-links whose ratings exceed the ratings specified in the standard, even though the shape and dimensions are as specified in the standard.
Rationale:
It is not appropriate to accept non-standardized specifications to issue a CB Test Certificate, which is to confirm compliance with internationally validated IEC standards.
