The minimum value of the maximum continuous a.c. voltage shall be 1,2 times the RATED4 B( a7 ^; F% E' x( i# H3 `
SUPPLY VOLTAGE of the apparatus.

waveform of 1,2/50 s and current waveform of 8/20 s.

. ?1 `# ]* P6 x. U3 f6 N# OCompliance is checked by applying the test of IEC 61051-2, group 1. After the test, the T8 `9 N/ Z* n; x& }6 j" M
varistor voltage (as defined in IEC 61051) shall not have changed by more than 10 % when
( d* \9 L4 T: V2 v1 w: A3 }measured with the manufacturer’s specified current.

The coating of surge suppression varistors shall have a flammability category V-0 or better6 O: _) a1 \, y9 e5 q0 s
according to IEC 60707.

For apparatus with nominal MAINS voltage of <150 V, the apparatus and a test resistor
