test, in accordance with 29.3.3 and for accessible parts of reinforced insulation

– as specified in Subclause 6.3 of IEC 60664-4 for insulation that is subjected to any

29.3.1 The thickness of the insulation shall be at least

29.3.2 Each layer of material shall withstand the electric strength test of 16.3 for
% ^! h5 {3 c. O2 Y# D3 _$ Nsupplementary insulation. Supplementary insulation shall consist of at least 2 layers of

, A; K8 I% u2 L, ^( H3 v* N29.3.3 The insulation is subjected to the dry heat test Bb of IEC 60068-2-2 for 48 h at a. d5 o8 L& _) ]% x7 V# e
temperature of 50 K in excess of the maximum temperature rise measured during the test of
# M8 \: c2 u0 e: T# q: E+ NClause 19. At the end of the period, the insulation is subjected to the electric strength test of7 b2 g7 h% e0 \2 z5 |) X9 m7 I+ U- W
16.3 at the conditioning temperature and also after it has cooled down to room temperature.4 }# q. |0 ?/ W% @4 Q; S Y, c
If the temperature rise of the insulation measured during the tests of Clause 19 does not
8 r# A+ N1 b4 F F3 O+ X3 Wexceed the value specified in Table 3, the test of IEC 60068-2-2 is not carried out.
