6.14 Grounding and bonding

6.14.1.1 Non-current-carrying metal parts and metallized polymeric parts that are accessible during user

6.14.1.2 The following parts are not required to be bonded to ground:
" o/ P) c& l Y0 f) \(a) the links of a metal chain used to support a pendant luminaire;2 H& n" Q: k0 P. D, E0 a! s6 X
(b) accessible non-current-carrying metal parts of luminaire components (for example,( k ?0 W; L# d$ x, u
lampholders and switches) that are isolated from live parts; or* Y. Q$ h# X- r3 d& ^/ l) r
(c) decorative parts, metal guards, and metal shades that do not enclose live parts.' F. c2 s8 s: i4 b/ a3 k5 P
6.14.1.3 An individual grounding conductor of a chain-and-canopy suspended luminaire shall be

in accordance with Table 20.1.1, Item 1.33.
