About the ISO/TS (Technical Specification) 16949:2009
& ~8 w+ F9 U: y8 [: @3 F |! lThe ISO/TS 16949 was jointly developed by the IATF members and submitted to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for approval and publication. The document is a common automotive quality system requirements catalog based on ISO 9001:2008, and specific requirements from the automotive sector. This document, coupled with customer-specific requirements defines quality system requirements for use in the automotive supply chain.
1 }! o7 Q. J4 {" J: E% xThe IATF has developed a common registration scheme for supplier 3rd party registration to the ISO/TS 16949. The registration scheme includes third party auditor qualifications and common rules for consistent global registration. Some of the benefits of the IATF registration scheme include:

7 u2 r# [0 |0 V- v9 vISO/TS 16949:2009 will be issued during the first quarter 2009, following the ballot of the ISO TC176 and reflects the changes in ISO 9001:2008. As such, the following applies:

ISO/TS 16949:2009 introduces no new or changed requirements. ISO 9001:2008 is based on clarifications or amendments to the existing requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and those that are intended to improve consistency with ISO 14001:2004. \& L c1 M u: Q+ z

Certification Bodies and Organizations are expected to understand and apply the amendments to ISO/TS 16949:2009. 3) Certification status to ISO/TS 16949:2002

6 x) _: s" _5 s8 I& h( f" @The certification status to ISO/TS 16949:2002 remains in effect for the certification life. Certification to ISO/TS 16949:2009 is recognized with the effective date of the release of ISO/TS 16949:2009. The certification to ISO/TS 16949:2009 is not an upgrade and its term is the same as the current ISO/TS 16949:2002 certificate.2 |+ J4 B. D6 I# D

TS 2002的认证文件及证书依然有效。TS 2009的认证自ISO/TS 16949:2009发布生效之日起开始。ISO/TS 16949:2009认证并不是比当前所用的2002更高级的认证，两者证书的期限是一样的。

IATF recognized certificates to ISO/TS 16949:2009 may be issued upon request by an organization (client) after official publication and after a regularly scheduled surveillance audit, but are not required until the next recertification audit ; Y) ]2 J# d6 W' B' a! E6 j

ISO/TS 16949:2009官方发布以后，由组织或个人提出申请，并经过定期的有计划的监督和审核，受IATF认可的ISO/TS 16949:2009证书方能发放。但是在下一次换发新证的审核之前不作要求。 |
