printed wiring boards, including a board itself, when these can only

. [ e+ D8 i$ O) h( S/ Lwhen printed wiring boards are assembled remotely from an endproduct% h* y8 f$ U! _$ b
manufacturing location and traceability of a board or its4 b9 n* K1 f3 l8 r9 W, I5 A
components is a concern. It is intended to address traceability of a& f& Y9 \, f' D6 G% Q
UL Recognized board and/or components only. All other aspects of
4 i. N, M8 C2 |$ _design, spacings, etc., are evaluated as part of the UL investigation

An assembler is required to keep records to trace the identity of all& S' {: S: U3 f: v+ t9 ?
materials and components from receipt through storage, inventory,

assembler’s name and UL code designation on a part, shipping
8 I% T( y' i* Ucontainer or included specification sheet. Relevant material and
! q! ~; m! c5 o ~4 e; w: V+ Dcomponent manufacturer name and type designations are marked
! T- b" h/ W7 W9 @" i Xon a part, shipping container or accompanying documentation. In# ~" w1 B2 d" y
addition, assemblies covered under this program will also bear the
