of the Consumer Product Safety

7 j( `1 x* B q2 grequirements of paragraphs 14(a)(1), (2),' ~* d: a2 d1 K) V
and (3) that otherwise require testing* \' n! ~7 e2 O% n
and issuance of certificates of" `4 p* \/ B0 @/ `0 m1 E4 x
compliance by manufacturers, including

as defined in the CPSA or similar rule,

other Act enforced by the Commission.

certification was required by subsection

• Full-size and non-full size cribs and

manufactured after January 20, 2009),

manufactured after February 15, 2009),3 p/ ^1 w* Z- v9 x+ D; x

• Metal components of children’s T L6 N J' w4 p, p4 d/ J
metal jewelry (effective for products
3 e7 K- f- N8 U9 S0 l+ S2 Cmanufactured after March 23, 2009);

5 A1 Y* n9 ?6 A3 X/ h0 o(3) Any and all certifications

(4) The certifications required due to

being defined as consumer product

the CPSA which were added by CPSIA;

This stay will remain in effect until% D9 v- c3 V2 Q' S4 D
February 10, 2010, at which time the5 C# G/ p! `; ?" k2 a9 q
Commission will vote to terminate the
+ n5 U; W" x' d* y* u+ y9 Fstay. This stay does not alter or
/ G& d' s- J8 S# A tpostpone the requirement that all% |' l2 m+ { F- [- h3 h
products meet applicable consumer" A9 T% i% t' S' {7 r" }# V
product safety rules as defined in the* g% V* g1 G% y# Q1 y, ~+ p: N, s
CPSA or similar rules, bans, standards,
