characters are added. These characters refer to the

granted. The first character is defined in Article 9. The+ f, A" W Q& V6 ?8 g }
second character is defined in Annex I, section 1 with

Section 3: the number of the latest amending Directive applicable to the" e2 C6 G* ^$ D3 Q6 y) h" N! x/ C
approval. If applicable two further alphabetical characters are9 I% i+ Q: }3 E
to be added depending on the conditions described in section
5 o7 [4 p3 L0 R2, even if as a result of the new parameters only one of the5 t5 f3 ~3 [: `* y* O$ t3 z
characters was to be changed. If no change of these characters

Section 4: a four-digit sequential number (with leading zeros as' n, R" i$ h! r6 N$ G8 ^4 Z) t# e
applicable) to denote the base approval number. The; q3 T" i6 f! s7 t4 V

Section 5: a two-digit sequential number (with a leading zero if
