The PSE Mark is a mandatory mark required on Electrical Appliances in Japan as authorized by the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law (DENAN). The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) administers the PSE Mark system.

Products regulated are categorized as Specified Products (SPs) or Non-Specified Products (NPSs) according to the DENAN law.

By the way, only the EMI test is necessary according to Japan law. For lighting product, the effective version is J55015(H20) in Japan. This standard is writtenin Japanese and derived from CISPR 15:2000+A1+A2. |
