美國加州第65號法案(California Proposition 65)

簡介:
# d# `7 i/ d* p# s美國加州於1986年開始實施「安全飲用水及有毒物質法案」 (The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act)，又稱為加州65法案，主要是推廣安全、乾淨的飲用水，並促使消費性產品不含會導致癌症或畸形兒的有毒物質。法規精神為：「從事商業行為的任何人，不得將危害物質於未經告示下販售給消費者。」

California Prop 65 affects all products sold or distributed in California, including: Toys, Clothing, Cosmetics, jewellery, Electrical devices, Wires & Cables, etc.! P5 _) r3 D3 e( E0 x
( A& K- t0 O7 y要求:
/ h& ?& B3 L, j0 jFirms doing business in California and exposing individuals to chemicals “known to the State” to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive toxicity must:/ x; S% M( N% B7 H! V. V+ u9 I* i
' V* l/ G/ z6 @3 M
(1) Provide clear and reasonable warning [& C* O$ S3 E) N$ Y/ \
(2) Do not discharge listed chemicals into drinking water

) \( l( ~1 w5 m: }警告標識內容要求:/ [ X C$ E1 `. P
! G y$ A) {* i! ~( q: o(1) A warning must be given for listed chemicals unless exposure is low enough to pose no significant risk.0 T$ X3 J4 W! ~8 Y& `
(2) Warning labelling is required if the product does not meet the requirements of Proposition 65.
! \7 Z; A: c. P- r3 _(3) The warning message must clearly communicate that the chemical in question is known to the State (California) to cause adverse effects. |
